Hey there! My name is David Fallas, an Information Systems Engineering student from Costa Rica and a technology professional with experience in cybersecurity and technical project management. I am currently completing my bachelor’s degree at Universidad Fidélitas while working full-time (…so yes, “free time” has been at a bit of a premium!)
This blog was created as part of my Computing and Society course and the WPCredits program. Through this project, I will learn more about WordPress, open-source technologies, and the many ways people can contribute to a global community, not all of which require spending hours staring at code.
For my first contributions, I decided to focus on photography, especially images of nature in Canada. During my visits, I captured landscapes, lakes, forests, wildlife, and everyday scenes that reflect the country’s natural beauty. It also gives me a good reason to finally do something useful with the many photos sitting on my phone!
In the next posts, I will share some of these photographs, along with short descriptions of the locations and the process of preparing them for submission to the WordPress Photo Directory.
